About Solebike: Small-group eBike Tours in Athens
Sharing the Athens we know and love.
From Our Cycling Past to Curated Small-group eBike Tours in Athens
Through our curated small-group e-bike tours in Athens, we invite guests to go beyond standard sightseeing and discover ancient routes, local neighbourhoods, quiet corners, culture, and everyday city life in a more personal way.
For us, meaningful travel is about quality over quantity: carefully designed routes, local knowledge, authentic encounters, and enough time to connect with the places and people that make Athens unforgettable.
"Be our guest, not a tourist"

Exploring Athens Slowly, Responsibly, and Locally
At Solebike, we believe that discovering Athens should feel personal, relaxed, and connected to the real rhythm of the city. That is why we focus on carefully designed small-group eBike tours rather than mass-tourism experiences. We want every ride to give our guests space to ask questions, interact, observe, and enjoy Athens at a more human pace.
Our approach is inspired by the idea of slow travel. Athens is not simply a collection of monuments and famous sights. It is a living city shaped by its neighbourhoods, everyday habits, traditional businesses, hidden corners, and the people who give each district its character. Through our tours, we aim to create experiences that feel authentic, interactive, and genuinely connected to local life.
At the same time, we embrace useful innovation. From easy online booking and clear communication to the comfort and accessibility of eBike riding, technology helps us make the experience smoother, safer, and more convenient — without losing the warmth of personal interaction.
Respect is also central to the way we operate. We care about Athens, its neighbourhoods, public spaces, and people. That means riding responsibly, respecting city rules and infrastructure, supporting meaningful collaboration with local businesses, and following thoughtful environmental practices wherever possible.
We do not see our riders simply as tourists. We welcome them as guests in our home city. Their questions, feedback, and experiences help us learn, evolve, and continually improve the way we share Athens.

Meet the People Behind Your Athens Ride

I created Solebike to share my view of Athens, connecting its treasures, hidden routes, and everyday life by bike.

Solebike began with love for Athens, cycling, and people; every tour is our way of sharing that feeling.

For me, every Solebike tour is a thoughtful ride through Athens, where cycling, history, and everyday life meet.

Andreas brings Athens to new prospect with his passion, warmth, humor, and passion for modern city's life on every ride.

For me, Solebike is about making Athens feel personal: welcoming guests, sharing local knowledge, and creating fun rides.

Nasos brings architecture, fine arts, and design together, sharing Athens through creativity, culture, and a deep love of knowledge.

I like Solebike tours because they skip the performance and let Athens speak through real streets, stories, and people.

Alex shares Athens with friendly confidence, clear historical insight, and an easygoing style that helps every rider feel comfortable.

I love sharing Athens through the mindset of road cycling, where rhythm, focus, and every route create a memorable ride.

I love guiding rides that balance comfort, confidence, and discovery, turning Athens into an experience every cyclist can enjoy.
Solebike, Part of Athens, Beyond the Tours

European Music Day — Athens 2014
Solebike joined the celebration as a supporter, creating a special guided eBike tour that connected the experience of the festival with a different way of discovering the city.
Riding through Athens as it came alive with music, participants could experience its streets, neighborhoods and atmosphere on two wheels — bringing together culture, urban exploration and sustainable mobility.

Athens Digital Arts Festival, May 2015
Solebike supported the festival with a specially designed eBike tour for participants and members of the press, connecting some of its main venues across Athens.
Along the way, the ride offered an alternative way to move between events while discovering the city itself — bringing together contemporary culture, urban exploration and sustainable mobility.

Open House Athens, April 2016, 2017 & 2018
Solebike participated in the event for three years, offering specially designed guided eBike tours that connected a selection of participating buildings across Athens.
Combining architecture, cycling and stories about the city along the way, the rides made it possible to move easily between locations while experiencing Athens itself as part of the journey.

Documenta 14 — Learning from Athens, April-July 2017
Solebike supported the event by offering specially designed guided eBike tours for visitors, participants and members of the press, both local and international.
Our rides connected some of documenta’s main Athens venues, combining easy movement through the city with relevant stories and context along the way — a different way to experience both the exhibition and the Athens around it.

Attica Region | World Environment Day, June 2020
We spoke with visitors about the role of eBikes in everyday urban transport and offered short guided rides within the park, giving people the opportunity to experience electric cycling first-hand.
Solebike was also invited to speak about how eBikes can contribute to sustainable commuting and help create cleaner, more people-friendly cities — a conversation closely connected to the way we believe urban mobility can evolve.

9½ Weeks at Shedia Home, July-August 2020, 2021 & 2022
Solebike supported the initiative for two years, contributing guided eBike rides that invited participants to experience the city from a different perspective.
It was a collaboration that felt naturally connected to what we believe in — bringing people together, supporting meaningful local initiatives and sharing Athens in a more personal way.

Athens City Festival, May 2023 & 2024
Our eBike City Architecture tour invited participants to explore Athens on two wheels, connecting landmarks and local neighborhoods along the way, while our soft hiking experience led visitors up Lycabettus Hill to discover its natural side and enjoy the city from above.
Two different ways of moving through Athens, both sharing the same idea — experiencing the city at a relaxed pace and from a more personal perspective.
