Our guide, Vasili, was very knowledgeable about the sites and about the Athenian culture. He taught us that Athens’ culture is a blend of diverse subcultures, each rooted in its own history.

The electric bikes were great, easy to ride and handled the hills with little effort. The ride provided a quick overview of the historic sites of Athens, including nice views of the Acropolis. We rode mostly on side streets and alleys, so didn’t compete with vehicle traffic, just pedestrians. At times, we rode past a site and got only a quick glimpse before having to turn attention back to navigating the bike. It would have been nice to make a few more stops.

It was so convenient that we were picked up with our luggage at the port, taken to the office where we started our bike ride, then delivered to our hotel afterwards. We really appreciated that!

I would recommend this tour as a great alternative to riding around in a tour van or bus.

We appreciated having the ear piece to get route and history as we rode.  They provided a free water bottle and at the end a map of areas we rode along with dinner recommendations.
